Short: Cubetastic is a 3D puzzle game for iPhone: guide the light across a cube to the goal by turning its cells. Free to try, one purchase for the full game. No ads, no hints.
Long: In Cubetastic, the player guides a light across a cube to the goal. To make a path, the player turns and recombines the cells of the cube and must think in three dimensions. Over 100 hand-made levels start easy and become very hard, with different cube sizes, colors and special cells. A short tutorial explains the rules; after that there are no hints. Every solved level opens the next two levels, so there is always another level to try. The game has a colorblind mode, plays offline and needs no account.
Cubetastic was the first game of Planetfall Software, a one-person studio in Regensburg, Germany. It came out in 2011 for iPhone, iPad, Mac and PC, reached 70,000 downloads and climbed to #2 in the charts during a promotion. The press liked it: "A Superb Puzzler" (MacStories), "Cubetactic by name, Cubetastic by nature!" (Touchgen, 4/5), Bronze Medal 7/10 (Pocket Gamer).
13 years later, the game is back: rebuilt for today's iPhone with the same difficulty, free to try, one purchase for the whole game, without ads, subscriptions or tracking.
